Marco Garzon has a Degree in Biology (1990) by National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) with specialty in limnology and chemical quality of water. He also has a Master in sciences with specialism in Biotechnology (1995) UNAM, specializing in municipal wastewater treatment by biofilm processes. Marco Garzon has a diploma in Environmental Engineering (1996) from the University of Valladolid, Spain, specializing in biological treatment of industrial wastewater, and a Doctorate in Civil Engineering (2001) by the Laval university, Canada, specializing in agro-industrial wastewater treatment. Marco Garzón-Zúñiga has been technical responsible of 21 national projects and 4 international projects on research; technological development and technological services related to water and has participated in other 23 national projects and 2 international projects. He is Author of 70 articles in extensive, on wastewater treatment, published in memories of specialized congresses with arbitration: 51 in international congresses and 19 in national congresses. Marco Garzón is a Co- Investigator for the project at IPN-CIIDIR Durango and has the responsibility of coordinating the activities of research regarding the development of water filters from rain water using Mezquite, and monitor the health of the partnership in CIIDIR, Durango.
