Informing policy of the benefits of supporting small rural communities through international trade and small cooperative organisation: A case study exploring Social Business Network and Etico strategies.

Project description

The University of Nottingham has partnered with Social Business Network and Ético to highlight the initiative of recognising the unpaid work of rural women to encourage empowerment and support local communities.

This project aims to show the impact of recognising the unpaid work that rural women do to agricultural production. The project will explore the changes and impacts of the initiative that Ético and partners developed to recognise the unpaid work of women.

Lessons from Nicaragua will be shared.
