In which countries is the Mezquite project working?

Our trans-disciplinary project is working in Mexico, Kenya and Tanzania, with the PI, which is Mexican, is based at the University of Nottingham in UK.

When the Compendium of Mezquite will be published?

We apologise for being late in publishing this document.

We are finalising the first draft in Spanish and waiting for one of our authors to provide her authorisation to publish her contributions. Once we have the final approval from all the authors we will publish the Spanish edition. We hope this to be end of May 2020; but this will depend how fast our authors return back the document to us.

Later we will follow versions in Swahili and English.

We aim to promote ethical and sustainable environmental, social, cultural and economic development to benefit marginalized communities in Mexico, Kenya and Tanzania. We aim to support communities to help themselves, thus all research proposals and solutions proposed by Proyecto Mezquite have been co-created with input from dryland communities.
